Going Home

Being away from home is not an easy task. For me, the fear did not come from being away from it, but not knowing where home really was. This book explored the relationship between both my homes—Hawaii and San Francisco. By applying ancient Hawaiian navigation techniques, I used the night sky to tell me everything I wanted to know about where I had been, where I am and where I want to be in the future. The idea was that it didn’t matter where I am or what I am doing, I can always figure out where my home is by just looking up.
